Well, apparently there is, especially at senior housing facilities. This place always does it right, champagne, a delicious buffet and of course, yours truly on the harp.

Grandmas House of Hope.org 9-13-2008
The Garden Grove Community Center: http://www.ci.garden-grove.ca.us/ was the lovely venue hosting the 2nd annual Luncheon for Grandma's House of Hope. http://www.grandmashouseofhope.org/ on Sat. Sept. 13,2008.
An elegant high tea, a tremendous Silent Action and live auction presented many opportunity's to help this viable cause. There are three different services offered by this non- profit organization. Paloma House for women who have survived domestic violence, is a 17 bed facility.
Grandmas Room is a program designed to benefit seniors and "Nana's Kidz" helps to support countless children, many of whom survive on the daily school lunches alone. Nana's Kidz provides much needed meals to those same children when school is not in session.
Each one is a noble cause. I played harp with my long time friend and flute player who donated our time for this worthwhile cause.

Tustin Ranch Golf Club 9-7-2008
Sunday Brunch at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club is among the best in OC! I have had the pleasure of playing there almost every Sunday for more than 16 years. Spectacular views, fabulous food, home made desserts and a professional staff are supurb. This all you can eat, champagne brunch accompanied by yours truly, makes this a "must try" experience for all Sunday Brunch fans!

Sat September 6th brought an opportunity to play once again at the lovely Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center at Green River. Spectacular views, a professional staff, and great food work together to bring each happy couple the wedding of their dreams. I am pleased to be on their referral list again this season.
Hacienda- Santa Ana 8-17-2008
Sunday the 17th was a gorgeous day at the Hacienda in Santa Ana.
I've been playing at this lovely place for over 20 year and enjoy each opportunity to go back. This venue becomes more lovely each year. A new ceremony site has been added, since I was last there.
I am very pleased to continue to be on their referral list this year. They will be hosting a Bridal Open House on October 18 at 1-3 pm. I will be there!
Eagle Glen Golf Club, Corona 8-17-2008
August 17th brought me to the Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I got a sub for my regular brunch job and enjoyed playing in this lovely venue once again!
Earl Burns Japanese Gardens 8-9-08
August 9th brought me back to the Earl Burns Japanese Gardens located on the CSULB campus in Long Beach. Lovely weather, gorgeous scenery and the happy couple made this event a perfect wedding. http://www.csulb.edu/~jgarden/
