Lovely Five Crowns Restaurant located in Corona del Mar, has been a very special venue for many years. In business since 1965, this delightful venue is open only to weddings and private parties on Saturday mornings.
The bride was a friend on my daughter's and she was searching for private, garden setting, located near the beach There is only one, Five Crowns!
Emeritus at Victorian Gardens in Ontario is a favorite of mine. They held a High Tea in honor of Mothers Day. Special decorations and an authentic menu made this a special event for the residents. http://www.emeritus.com/locations/Show-Community.aspx/Emeritus-at-Victorian-Court
Temecula's Mary Phillips Senior Center was the venue for this special tea to honor mothers. A delightful menu, decoration and door prizes were offered.

Black Gold Golf Course is the newer of the two golf clubs in Yorba Linda. Built on the site of a former oil field, this public course boasts a lovely, new gazebo for weddings. The clubhouse is gorgeous with gorgeous views of surrounding hills. I'm pleased to have been referred by the club for this wedding!
The Gardens at Hillsbourough Village has been a favorite assisted care location of mine, for many years. This place is magnificent! I enjoyed playing for their Sunday Brunch as well as several holiday events. This was a High Tea held in honor of Mothers Day next weekend.
Emeritus @ Casa Whittier was the location for this fun birthday party. These are held monthly and this one honored the April birthdays. A special menu, with wine and birthday cake, made the evening fun for all.http://www.emeritus.com/locations/default.aspx/California-assisted-living/Whittier/
This lovely outdoor tea is held annually and I have been fortunate enough to play for it many times. The guests are seated under a canopy and served homemade, luscious delicacies as well as Earl Grey Tea. http://www.riversideca.gov/museum/
I thought that I had done it all, but that was before I was invited to play harp for a Quincenera for a doggie! The event was incredible. Held at Trilogy Homes in Corona at the Nines Grill. http://www.trilogylife.com/
There was a processional and a ceremony followed by a scrumptious champagne brunch. Of course, there were birthday gifts for the doggie, a very fortunate pup, to be sure.

Eagle Glen Golf Club was the venue for my second volunteer luncheon held on behalf of the volunteers for Corona Regional Medical Center.
This gala event is sponsored annually by the hospital, to show appreciation to the volunteers for their many, countless hours given. Special menu, prizes, entertainment and a delicious luncheon are all part of the event.
Court Appointed Special Advocates put on a gala fund-raiser art show and sale to benefit the children who become victims of the foster care and court system. Volunteers, who include judges, themselves, donate their time to evaluate these kids and my become become spokespersons for the children.
Many times these children are too young or inexperienced to speak for themselves. This was a worthy cause and the need for volunteers is tremendous.
